Yes of course, you can see it without a telescope, and actually it will be in a very nice lil size. You can take pic with any regular phone and it will be seen

Yes, you can see the Hollywood sign from here. It is approx. 150 yards walking distance and around 50 steps up. You don't need a telescope to see the sign.
