The museum itself is really thoughtfully put together and I learned a lot. I would recommend arriving early because the employees and guides seemed very concerned and worried about the museum closing at 3pm. It made the experience feel rushed and distracted.

My visit to the Museum of Tolerance is an most emotional experience, which was triggered by an understanding of cultural and racial sensitivity. The centerpiece of the museum is a step by step journey of European Jews during the holocaust during World War II. There is also a large gallery on the merits of diversity with huge interactive touchscreens and an exhibit on Anne Frank that enhances the overall guest experience. To say a visit here is an eye opener for one's conscience and a humbling one at that, but it is truly an awe inspiring and magnificent place to visit.

Life changing experience. I believe everyone should go. You will learn more here than your history class. Beautiful and sad experience at the same time. You definitely need to take your time here. At least 4 to 5 hours.

The experience here left me bewildered about our attitudes and humans and how over the years many people have suffered untold hardships due to no fault of theirs. Now, I am more determined to help mankind by preventing another holocaust or genocide by working with other likeminded people to make our world a better place.

Somewhat but there are different rooms and different tour about Anne Frank
There used to be. It was there when my class took a field trip in 1994. It didn't display the words visually, just played them from all directions as though you were walking through a crowd of people hissing/hurling racism at you. It also wasn't a moving walkway, so you could just stand in there. I know it was meant to be serious, but we 6th-graders thought it was hilarious.
Unfortunately lunch bags are not permitted inside the museum.
