You might wanna call the city about that since it is a city park
They have picnic tables and grills in certain areas so these areas are designated for cooking and eating. I think the city would prefer if cooking be limited to these areas and bringing your own grill shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't set up a grill just anywhere
The park is changing... you might want to really take a look at it before you make plans to be there..
