Yes, you can even wrap up food in aluminum foil and set it on the edge of the fire ring. If you want to grill over the fire you must bring a grill at least two to three foot long to go over the flames.

They have fire pits available on the sand, those do not have a grill for a BBQ, but they are perfect for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs with fire poker stick things. I don't know what the correct term is for those, lol.
It's not explicitly prohibited, and I do see people cooking hotdogs all the time, so I would say yes.
