Hertz doesn't rent for Lyft anymore.. you would have to download the Lyft driver app and follow the directions on the app. And the only place in San Diego that rents cars for Lyft is Lyft. Word of caution.. the rental prices are different now and you will get charged for every mile you drive, regardless if you are giving a ride for a passenger or not.. $0.13 per mile for doing Lyft rides and $0.34 per personal mile... I think you should check the Lyft app to see if you qualify. As far as I know they still offer the service. Uber is still renting as an alternative.
