Poles yes No boats allowed within 500 feet of the pier itself ....If you want too freshwater fish. You can go to Holiday Park West on Griffin Rd until you reach highway 27 cross over the intersection keep going a mile fur the West. You can rent boats and poles .make sure you have your fishing license because you need them for both fresh and Salt water ok. Also be CAREFUL of the Gators they tend to BITE....

Just poles and you can buy live bait, too. Not boats allowed near the pier.
