The Dania beach pier is a nice spot to look over the water and see off into the Hollywood area. There are some nice photo opportunities from the pier as well. There is a restaurant on the pier as incase you get hungry. If you are looking for a nice fishing spot, I’ve seen a lot of people fish here so it’s a good spot for that as well. 🐟

I love this beach and the pier is an added bonus. Family fun day. We spend the day at beach, enjoy lunch at quarter deck and enjoyed the evening fishing and just taking in the scenery on the pier.

The pier is awesome it’s very clean and there is lots of people fishing off of it. There is a great restaurant but I’ll do a separate review of it. A pelican ate a fish in front of us and that was absolutely amazing to see nature up close like that. It does cost to walk the pier 2 dollars per person to walk and 5 dollars if you wanted to fish. And it’s good closing so you go and come back later if you want. There a great beach area there as well. So you can walk up and down the beach as well. You get to see lots of ships and boats. It would be a great place to see the sun rise. When you on the beach please be aware of the different jelly fish in the area.

No, frozen for bait.
I recently searched for the answer, status says Christmas eve may effect the normal hrs of 6am-midnight 7days a week. That might mean it may not open but I can't be too sure... cheers happy holiday
There is a restaurant that serves food. I’m not sure but you may be able to get some fresh shrimp there. And yes you can get bait if needed at the beginning of the pier.
Anyone can $2 to walk $3 to fish, $40 to rent a fishing pole
It depends on the time of Day that you go.
No
There are King fish snook tarpon and even the occasional grouper
As long as they're with a 6' leash. But they're not allowed on that part of the beach.
Yes you can ,Hollywood Parasail ..there's a few there to chose from
Ask a local bait shop. Make sure that you have a fishing pole with fishing line strong enough to bring a fish up from about 30 feet below
If you use live Pilchards Tarpon and oversized slot Snook are hitting in the Early morning hours Tarpon are anywhere from 80 to a 120 pounds. Look for the birds following the bait near the shoreline you can also hookup on Jacks and maybe some mackerel. Make long cast from shore using a medium size chrome spoon . Happy hunting and tight lines 😁
No net. Mackerel Pompano Lane runners. Yes you can buy live bait
No but yes, Ron said there is bait & tackle shop that you pass as you go into the pier. Oh make sure you eat @ Quarterdeck's Dania Pier...outside patio out back , that will b best ending of day a view of beach is perfect!
you do not need a saltwater fishing license if you are a Florida resident, however, if you are visitor you must purchase one for shore and boat fishing
2$ for sightseeing and 3$ to fish o and 2$ an hour parking
The fishing is OK, in good day you can a couple of undersized Mutton Snappers.
There are public restrooms there.. but they close them just before the sunset time..
Usually there is hardly any space for you to do it besides, it is a fishing pier and therefore smells like it.
Yes
Dogs not allowed in the pier and the beach too.
Yes, although limited supply.
$10.00 rod rental. $40,00 deposit. If you break or lose it.
No, you have to pay to access the pier and be able to fish 3 dollars and non fishers 2 dollars once you get your fish you don't have to pay any extra to take it home
Opens at 7 in the morning
It's about 20 - 25 miles from Deerfueld down to Dania. Danica is just south of the Ft. Lauderdale airport.
Rods are $10 and are rigged. $6 fee to fish, $3 to walk on. Don't remember bait costs but is cheap. Frozen squid and shrimp. Also live shrimp while supply lasts.
It depends on what I want to do, I understand that you pay nothing more to fish apart from parking
probably not on the pier since people have to pay to get on there, but I saw a lot of people with their dogs over the last few days walking around
Yes
Yes
Dania Pier (I prefer) and best to fish with shiners...I tried shrimp before and it didn't last at all.
You can sit on the pier. There are several benches that run the length of pier. There is a small fee to enter the pier.
There is a small shop where you pay to access the pier that sells some items
Barracuda
No you do not. Just pay the lady in the bait/souvenir shop it's $3.00 per person to fish and I think $2.25-2.50 for just walking on to check it out. I'd get there early as there are limited covered areas on the pier. Or if you bring your own, it shouldn't be a problem. Happy fishing!!
Last time been fishing there was around $4. They also have a mini store with baits and fishing pols.
Its like 3 or 5 dollars a person i believe and if you don't got rods you can rent or buy from them as well.
There was but the wind direction has changed lessening the onshore effect (smell, sinus irrigation) considerably.
Yes i see this pier for family time, open spot area especially for kids and relaxing
Ok. So it's legal to fish the beach but just too many people. Thank you
Yes
