I would call them and ask. They are wonderful and they will tell you what the risks are. You can wait there while it's done if you like. They have a nice waiting room with a tv and snacks.
Check in is at 8am and generally your animal is ready to pickup after 3pm
Length of time just depends. They could take 4 hours up to 6. Depending on where your cat is in the line for that day.
They have a nice lounge where you can hang out at all day if you wanted. They have a cooler with drinks, a microwave & coffee. The staff tries to make it as comfortable & stress free as possible for the pet owner. They really are a great bunch of people!!!
I took my dog there early and went exploring Richmond, until time to pick my dog up. I have an older dog so they had to do a few more test, but all was safe, and very safe.
You bring your pet in by 8am and pick them up no later than 5pm...it is an all day thing and it is safe... They do blood work and is done by a licensed veterinarian! We just make it a day to explore Virginia in that area...
