Selfinstalling XFinity box to replace 10yr-old Uverse. TV outlet of Inaccessible-in- wall cable-input fitted with Ethernet jack, not coax. Will Ethernet jack on cablebox back work or do I need adapter. XFinity phone support number doesn't help.

You are going to need coax outlet at&t ethernet ports don't work probably you will need a tech
