You are going to want to bring your card.. last time I was there a woman near me tried paying with cash but the rep at the desk told her they didn't have change so she had to go get her card to pay
Cash is usable but credit is preferred. As someone already noted, they may not always have adequate change available. And animal insurances are also usable including CareCredit.
