Its not really a family style gym. There isnt necessarily a safe area for them to be in. If they are a teenager like 16 yes they can get a gym membership under thete parents but children is not ok
I wouldnt think it woould be safe for children..... To many hazzards with training equipment.... And when working out who pays attention .......
I'd honestly have to say that Planet fitness is not much of a family gym. Now the rules as I heard them. They do not distinguish an age but do say that under 18 must be accompanied by someone over 18. I can't say that they enforce this since I have seen under 18 by themselves but it happens very rarely for under 18 to come in anyway. I think there are better suited gyms for younger folk than the planet but then again, it is up to you to determine that.
