I placed a request through UPS customer service to have my package delivered and hold at the UPS facility my package is due to be there tomorrow can I stop by and pick it up the customer service person over the phone said yes I can must bring ID

When the package tracking states the package has arrived at the ups facility yes. They hold the " hold for pickup " packages separately with your name in large print. They sometimes require ID.
