I have parked in that lot intermittently over the past two years I usually arrive after 10pm and I'm on my way by 6 or 7am and never have had any problem the are by the trees , as you enter on to the lot it's toward the southeast corner. I've seen many other people parking overnite and as long as you come and go, never a problem. There is also another area you can park lots of trucks park there on avenida ensina parrallel to I-5 between palomar airport rd to the north and poinsettia to the south there are posted signs as to when and where you can park safely.
There is a posted sign stating no overnight parking. I am not sure how heavily enforced it is.
i have and its ok. i do it cause i dont have space at home for 2 cars and helps
