I would like to purchase a front door and have it installed by Home Depot. I am not confident in measuring the dimensions of the door opening. Can Home Depot also come out and measure for the new door?

If home depot is doing the ptoject, they will charge a 50 dollar fee that can be applied to the purchase to measure.

Measure with a steel tape measure. Measure all four sides of the opening. The left will be a little different length than the right and the top different from the bottom. These 4 measurements define the opening. Now add door jams or hinges to let the door swing in AND out.
