Given the higher crime statistics in Wytheville relative to other places in Virginia, what level of security is in place to protect hotel guest vehicles. Have there been incidents of break ins to guest vehicles?

Stayed there this summer overnight. Parked w an open trailer behind our SUV w a car top carrier on the trailer. Was just overnight but had no issues. Our car was under lights in lot and we could see it from our room.

We actually did leave gear in our truck but hid it from sight. All was well and we found the neighborhood quiet for December. Lovely hotel and the food was great as well. My daughter has stayed there also many times during summer months and never has had any issues.

I have stayed there several times, once with my daughter and young granddaughter, and have never felt even remotely unsafe. In fact, my daughter, granddaughter and I took a stroll down the street in the evening on one occasion. The neighborhood is well lit and was quiet.

They have their own parking lot and as long as there is nothing to steal in the car all will be well

The area appears to be relatively well maintained, clean and safe. The hotel is not in some skid row section of town. I am not aware of any extra ordinary security in place at the hotel.
