The guest room was very comfy, pillows were great! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious (three meats and sugar waffles!). We had lunch catered for a meeting and it was also yummy - chicken salad on croissants with salad and tomato bisque. I would definitely recommend the Bolling Wilson to stay, eat, or attend (or host) a meeting/retreat. Super bonus is close proximity to restaurants and breweries in Downtown Wytheville!! What a cool place. 😎

Beautiful historic hotel in downtown Wytheville. Lovely rooms, very clean, great staff, and a nice restaurant call Graze on Main. So much better than the other hotels in the area - it costs a little more but worth it. Also pet friendly.

I loved this hotel! Its’ history, Edwardian sensibility, dining room, guest room and bath were beautifully appointed. I loved the recessed doors entering the room, the large bathroom and cozy bed with ability to open the windows are everything I could hope in a hotel stay. Truly lovely place.

What an adorable hotel! We needed to check in early, and they were very accommodating. Pet friendly. Cute restaurants nearby. The rooms are perfect for their theme. We had floral rugs, deep purple headboards and checkered bath tiles. All the little touches were there that made you feel cared for. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout.

What are the Saturday hours for the bar? And is it a full bar or just wine and beer?

Yes, when I was there the front desk had it opened for even though the bar wasn't open and they lit the fire pits and everything . Very nice view from up there.

Given the higher crime statistics in Wytheville relative to other places in Virginia, what level of security is in place to protect hotel guest vehicles. Have there been incidents of break ins to guest vehicles?

Stayed there this summer overnight. Parked w an open trailer behind our SUV w a car top carrier on the trailer. Was just overnight but had no issues. Our car was under lights in lot and we could see it from our room.
