Yes and no, sample at 81st and Collins ave in miami beach dog have a park at the same barbeque places, and i saw people take small dog with them to the beach but like chiguagua if you dog really behave i have two small and they not bark my dog are very friendly but i see people with big dog out the beach in the park.

I live across the street and take my dog to the beach there as do others.. the worst that could happen is an over-zealous life guard will blow his whistle and advise you that dogs are not allowed. I can easily walk him back home but if you live far away, it may not be so convenient. Most people take their dogs after they've gone home.
I've seen people regularly take their dogs to the beach and not get called out for doing so . As far as I know, there's nothing wrong with it .
