I have a cute chihuahua mix dog who needs a good home. i am moving away and can't bring it with me. is there any pet rescue or other organizations that accept dogs in the gainesville area and is there a fee if i want to bring a dog for adoption?

I don't believe there is a fee for surrendering an animal. Please check the local shelters. Please do not advertise a " free dog to good home" dog fighters "adopt" these animals and well..... you know. If you are unable to find a shelter that has room and you need to find a home charge a rehoming fee and get vet reference. A dog fighter will not pay $10 rehoming fee. Too many free pets out there. I'm sorry you have to give your baby up. It's hard but it sounds like a nice dog and should be allowed quickly.

You can call or Google surrounding areas for animal shelter and i think they are free but call first ok.
