So can i walk in with my partner pay to rent one and shoot or whats the process i have to go trew

Yes you can. I was an MP in the Navy (Master at Arms) and didn't take a class. You must demonstrate proper safety procedures with a staff member prior to using the range. You're friend can also shoot as long as you show him/her firearm safety and operating procedures.
Its a public range. You dont have to take classes to shoot there. They have targets, rental guns, ammo, etc etc. Swing by, its a nice range.
If it's been some time since you regularly practiced, I would recommend that you take a refresher class and reorient yourself to the fundamentals and safety rules. Especially if you are bringing in a friend who hasn't shot before, you need to have the safety rules internalized so that you can effectively and safely mentor him/her.

I believe they have you read some range rules and quiz you on a couple to make sure you actually read them. Other than that no classes are required and no real experience is needed. The staff is very helpful and your experience in the military will come in handy. Have fun!
