No one answers the phone at this location and they're understaffed I suppose. Left voicemails for the office and for my counselor, including email. It takes weeks to get a simple reply back if they got my email. Even got my disability submission messed up with wrong disability when they submitted. Not too happy as this causes more stress and mental issues for Veterans.

They got me 40% first time go and just raised it up to like 60 or 70, not sure. Thomas was super helpful from start to finish. I don't know whats not to like about this organization but we need to pick this score up higher.

Just got my father's VA pension approved! Much thanks to the wonderful work of Terry Thomas and the rest of the staff at the Santa Clara VA office for the invaluable assistance. Terry met with my father and I several times, beginning with just getting information to advising and gathering the documentation needed to file a claim, twice (we did not meet the income requirements the first time and re-filed a year later). Terry was very patient, professional and thorough in guiding us through this process and was responsive to email and phone inquiries during the COVID-imposed restrictions that closed the physical VA office. Couldn't have done this without the help and we are very grateful!

It's unfortunate that some of the veterans and their families had a negative experience while visiting this office. However, my experience went exceptionally well! I requested to have the VSD 001 form to have the Veteran Designation on my CDL. I had all my required docs and it took about 15 mins. The gentleman who assisted me, I believe his name is Attila. He was very professional and courteous. He assisted me with my business and I couldn't be more greatful of the outcome. Bravo Zulu!!!!

And the form from the Veteran's Service Center. But they're not open. You've got to contact them by phone, otherwise Mondays are walk-in days if you get their when it opens.

Lots! Big thing to do would be to check out postings from local VFW, DAV, and American Legion posts. The Nonprofit I work for, VetsinTech, also has education, employment, and Entrepreneurial opportunities and gatherings. www.vetsintech.co
