do not use "great America Station" to enter into navigation to get here. be more specific as "ACE great America Station" or "Amtrak Great America Station" in order to prevent navigation from erroneously going to Lafayette Street which is the other side of the train tracks where there's no boarding platform or shuttles

American infrastructure done on the cheap. No continuous shelter, no elevators. No bus shelters for all the shuttles. At least there's a driveway. There's no signage for this, but exiting at one end of the platform will let you cross the street to Calle de Luna, which actually offers you a nice view of the moon and gets you quickly to the Lick Mill VTA station, making the stairs in the middle fairly useless.

As you can tell this is not the train station that it claims to be. this is the great America light rail station across the street from levi stadium.

Actually, this IS the Santa Clara Amtrak station, or rather AN Amtrak station. (Santa Clara has SCC as well as GAC near Great America.) However, you wouldn't know it from standing here -- as of October 2012, there is no signage or anything to indicate that anything stops here besides Caltrain (other than an extra set of tracks). So, warning to anyone attempting to catch the Capitol Corridor line here: There are no ticket kiosks and no proper directions to the platform. From the street, you need to take the stairs down and under the Caltrain tracks to the opposite-side (northbound) Caltrain platform, which doubles as the Amtrak platform. I was able to catch my train thanks to the advice of a few passersby, but the lack of posted information is frankly disgraceful. On the plus side, this station has easy access to Caltrain as well as the completely-free 10 bus to the San Jose airport / VTA light rail.

All day parking yes. Cost is set before an upcoming event. Non-event parking is free directly across from levi stadium on Tasman Ave. The parking structure is open during event & non-event. Cost for parking is different as are the events scheduled at levi stadium.

Yes. Capitol Corridor trains run between San Jose and Sacramento and stop at Great America station. The shortest way to Levi's Stadium is up the stairs to the overhead roadway and the walk WSW on Tasman to the stadium. It is a little less than 1/2 mile. You can see the stadium from the SSE end of the platform and from the stairs.
