I never write these things, but I am at Brotman (note name change - I wonder why!), and am in worse pain, bored (TV broken, ah-hem), and mad. This place should be closed-down. It's filthy. ------- Nurses at other hospitals are NOT "all like that" I have a few chronic health conditions, and have been a patient at other hospitals, and I find most nurses patient & caring. Not at Brotman. And both doctors, both times, were rude, dismissive, impatient, and Don't wait to listen at all. I left early last time, and am fixing to leave this one.
This hospital was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Neil is one of the social workers there and was mine. He was demeaning and insulting he has no business being in charge of any patience I hope he’s fired.
Drove up to the ER bc my daughter’s surgeon told me to bring her to the nearest ER...I was greeted by a rude and obnoxious valet attendant forcing me to pay to park even though I had a handicapped placard. I didnt Mind paying even though the law protects me from getting charged but it was his demeanor that gave me a bad impression about the hospital itself. Luckily, my intuition told me to leave and took my daughter to UCLA Ronald Reagan hospital instead. This hospital looks like a run down hospital in a 3rd world or war torn country. How can Something like this exist in the US.
I briefly worked at this "dump" as an RN back in the mid 70's. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS SO CALLED "Hospital" is still standing. I eventually walked out, forfeiting my pay thoroughly DISGUSTED! Michael Jackson was lucky to survive his emergency admission after burn accident. SMH.....
Nurses are like that at every center they complain about not getting paid good
