Racist security guard. We came in as a family to get stuff for a beach trip. All of us were speaking spanish as we navigated through the store. Soon we had people following us. We spent almost $300 just for the security to question my father who was standing near us while we checked out. My dad who doesnt speak english well told him that he was waiting for us to finish (narrow check out line so he didnt want to block the way). My father was ashamed and visibly shaken. Shame on your employees. Both the large african american security guard and the young white male employee followed us during the whole trip. Never again. Ive never felt as racially profiled as I did today....worst of all it was mainly directed to my hard working father. He is still upset about the incident. Also as we were leaving they loudly stated "Well it happens. You can never be sure". So dont shop here unless you wanna be harrased!

Not the best store to shop at. Their prices have always been much higher than Ross for Less and Ross has far better quality and variety. I stop in at Big Lots only if I'm in the area. I never do any serious shopping here. Why bother??

Big lots is a great place to buy nick nacks and home needs. It's fun shopping. Enjoy it.

Discount my "A" use to be. Some things are double that you can still get at 99cent store. Candles are over priced and food items you can go to market same cost or better deal. Believe Me I am a comparison shopper and use my Just For You at Vons and Ralph's send special deals to mobile App. I Only do Big Lots for Paper plates, towels,etc and that's when they send 20% off. Not my favorite spot anymore.
