I had gastric bypass at the surgery and I was there overnight and I have never ever dealt with a more amazing staff. Everyone and I mean everyone was super helpful and friendly even as you pass the hallways people say hi. As I was walking the first time after my surgery everyone was cheering for me on the sidelines it was really sweet. This hospital may not look like much on the outside but what they have on the inside is nothing short of a heart of gold.

This place used to be somewhat awesome but the last two times going to the E. R. Was a complete nightmare. The nurse tried to put an IV several times when i finally just stopped her. She began to argue with me saying i was not holding still she even told me i kicked her somehow. I told her no more digging in my arm and i left. Being sick and arguing is not what i call good patient care. The waiting time has increased greatly and wait room only has literally like 10-15 chairs to sit in! Good idea to go to larger hospital for better care and treatment from people who like their jobs. Its all about attitude. i was too sick to argue anyway! A patient ahead of me was very upset he had beens waiting like 3-4 hours, he left without being seen! I used to recommend this hospital but starting today that will change! Good luck.in ypur decisions and your health!

Staff was unfriendly, inattentive, and condescending. Didn’t feel safe in the lobby or in the back, genuinely feared for my safety. After I was prescribed medication, it took 45 minutes for them to print and give me the prescription. The doctor also would not discharge me after I’d asked multiple times to just be released. The only nice and comforting staff member was the guy who took my blood, which happened in the lobby…. Highly recommend increased security in that environment.

I went to this Hospital with an allergic reaction to tree nuts. I came from a wedding brunch and my throat was closing up. I was visiting from out of state and was a bit anxious of my situation. The nurses were extremely helpful with calming me down and letting me know they were going to take care of me. I wish the Hospitals where I am had the same exceptional nurses and doctors. Thank you for the timely treatment and kindness!

Same thing happened to our family. We left messages for the Attending Dr and he Never returns any calls
I am here at this moment - it is horrid. It is actually my second time here. Last time was crappy too. Never again. I'll just tell the ambulance to leave me on the curb, so I can call a taxi & go to Cedars, UCLA, or even County. Or just let me bleed out. Never again.
The worst hospital EVER. The care was terrible, the staff is rude. The television and equipment is broken. Up all night listening to cursing and yelling .
I never write these things, but I am at Brotman (note name change - I wonder why!), and am in worse pain, bored (TV broken, ah-hem), and mad. This place should be closed-down. It's filthy. ------- Nurses at other hospitals are NOT "all like that" I have a few chronic health conditions, and have been a patient at other hospitals, and I find most nurses patient & caring. Not at Brotman. And both doctors, both times, were rude, dismissive, impatient, and Don't wait to listen at all. I left early last time, and am fixing to leave this one.

Dont go to Southetn California Hospital they will not take care of you..Nurses would make you suffer and no doctors will see you in person if dey do dey will balme everyting on you. Its not a good place to go . theres other places better than this look on line but read d reviews good luck
