You're fine. The only place there are stairs is on the east side of the platform. It's only 4-5 steps and there is also a ramp. The conductors will provide a ramp to assist boarding the trains. Just wait at the East side of the platform in front of the Amtrak station where the Handicap ramp is. That's where the conductor will put the ramp down that will allow an even surface to board the train.
Conductors can assist passengers getting on and off the train. They provide step stools when needed to make the step up or down shorter and not so hazardous.
