El Coyotito is a hidden gem. Every time I need to feed a large group of people, I count on them for delicious meats, excellent handmade corn tortillas, good sides and friendly service. I haven't enjoyed their seafood yet, but I trust it's as good and fresh as the rest of their food is. Go eat there today.

This is one of the gems I found in San Juan Capistrano. They have fresh, handmade tortillas, sopes or huaraches made to order! All the traditional meats are available; adobada, chorizo and carnitas are my favorites.

This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant. Their best meat is the Adobada and if you go for tacos, you have to try the hand made tortillas. We've catered from this restaurant many times for parties and events, and the service never disappoints. In short, this is authentic Mexican cuisine that you don't want to miss.

I love El Coyotito not only for it's totally home made meals, but also it's atmosphere. It feels like I'm sitting in someone's kitchen. It's not formal, but it's also not a "taco shop". Fresh squeezed OJ is good. Sit at the small counter and you can watch your food being made. A neighborhood kitchen of sorts. Always the same hardworking staff. It can get busy.
