I agree with the wait time..what is the reason for 6 or 7 hour wait???
I haven't had any issues with Methodist Hospital's ER. I cannot think of a time I had to wait longer than a hour. I think Methodist is one of the better hospitals around. I pref Methodist over any other hospital.
Been here since 1 pm, still here waiting. I literally lost an entire day, what has changed here for such a long wait?
Because the nurses are too busy gossiping at the nurses station, making rude comments, and giving out confidential information
According to ProPublica's "ER WaitWatcher", (and as of the date I am posting this) Arcadia Methodist Hospital's average wait time in ER before being seen by a doctor is "31 minutes". Not 6 hours! [https://projects.propublica.org/emergency/hospital/050238] Generally, patients going to ER are triaged based on the severity of their conditions and the urgency of needed treatment, if any. If you'd been there for 6 hours and had not been seen yet, chances are there was nothing wrong with you. Still, you would have been better off asking hospital staff about the reason for your extended wait time.
I have been at the ER and I have none to spend that much time if you go early in the morning you will not spend that much time at the ER
