My maternal grandparents and mother were Chaffees and as a child I visited Ontario each summer. I plan a visit on a Sunday in Sept. with a cousin. Can you suggest a nearby restaurant for us before coming to your museum? Thank you.

Hi Marilyn, Silvia's recommendations are quite good. We would also recommend Gloria's Cochina Mexicano. It's really close to the museum, on the northwest corner of Euclid and D St. Enjoy your trip to Ontario.!

Hi there, I don't work at the museum, but I know the area very well. There are a few great options in the area. If you're looking for a fast food place with larger portions, Andy's Burgers is nearby, they serve breakfast until 1 pm on weekends, but have great lunch options as well. Another great breakfast restaurant with traditional breakfast items, very nice people and music, Iron Skillet is past G street at the end of downtown Ontario. They serve lunch and dinner items. But close at 3pm. My favorite lunch and dinner option in downtown Ontario is at the corner of G street and Euclid, El Pescador has great Mexican cuisine (only thing I don't agree with is that they charge a service fee now). There is a barbacoa place if you like it. It's called Xolos Barbacoa. It's really good with the ramen. I hope these options help and have a great time when you're in town!
