how does the alley cat program work.. I heard about it on the TV.. I have a number of feral cats that keep showing up to get fed and would like to get them trapped and fixed.... don't mind feed them but would prefer not to have more showing up..

There is someone in charge of feral cats. Community Cat Program Assistant. He or she keeps track of them. They spay and neuter feral cats. Microchip and release them to where the cats are from. Inquire at Animal Samaritans for more info.

You can call the shelter, they will have you come in and fill out paperwork. They catch cats, spay or nueter them as well as clip ear to let people know they are already fixed. Then they return the animals to same area.
