I have never sat in the lawn area my ticket specifies a row and seat number is there a designated spot where I have to sit on the lawn is there room for a sand chair?

You have a row and seat, NOT LAWN! See some of the ticket vendors seat maps to see where you'll be.

Tickets are marked with a number but you can sit anywhere on the lawn NO chairs of any type allowed as they rent them

It is literally a lawn. You sit on the grass. You can rent a lawn chair

Are you sure your ticket is lawn? There are no lawn sections or rows at all, just open grass. You can rent lawn chairs, but it's first come first serve on where you get to sit them lol. The venue WILL NOT let you bring your own chair. You can bring a blanket or towel (there are dimension specifications on the website, idk them off the top of my head).
