The peak season has ended. Last Friday my wife and I kayaked on the Water Trail in the Great Salt Marsh. She got 4 bits and I got 1. One does not go near there when the nasty buggers are at peak. Their peak is full moon to full moon. This year we had a really high tide that killed most of them.
