I have always love this house. Would make a great museum for the area.

Stopped for a picture on our drive to Plum Island. Cute little house.

The Pink House is so unique and is a statement to its surroundings. I was so curious to learn more about it and what the story/history is. I was so surprised to learn that it is part of a Nonprofit and the Parker River Wildlife Refuge. Both great causes and it says a lot about the spirit of the community.

Why is it famous?

Because of a nasty divorce settlement. The wife wanted an exact replica of the house they were living in together as part of the divorce and he obliged but put it here on purpose for revenge and she never moved in.

Is this house still there? I want to paint it this month.
