I agree with what Andrea said. But l'm just wondering... Could you not help put her up until she can get situated? If she is stage 4 and very ill, maybe hospice might be able to help her; or at least a hospital first. I'm so sorry you are in this predicament but she is very lucky to have you! I feel for the both of you. 😢 Does she have relatives? I'm guessing not.

Call 211 for help. DHHS can help with Maine Care and Food Supplement but housing and mental health issues should go through other avenues. 211 is the best bet to find those services.
