Can I dispose of paint, thinner, charcoal, lighter fluid, woodburning log, and matches at your location?

You can only throw the wood and the coal but even they can give you a number where you can take the paint

Hi Tricia, actually the paint, thinner, and lighter fluid are all consider household hazardous waste and can only be take to an HHW collection facility or mobile collection center. You can call (888) CLEAN LA to find out where the next event is happening. LA County Dept. of Public Works hosts them every Saturday around Los Angeles county for residents.
