I have a package that I am waiting for since the 9th of December. When I consult USPS tracking, I am informed that Industry postal distribution center received the package on the 9th of Dec and is still sitting on it. Nice to know that this agency is able to remain so incompetent and not have the Postmaster General looking in to their operation

My package has 18 days and has not yet reached Miami. It has 7 days in los angeles california, and on the web page it has not been updated since July 11

It's waiting for processing at a distribution center amongst millions of others

Unfortunately, you can not pick up your package at a Distribution Center. The post office at 15421 Gale street is a Distribution Center. I worked there before. Do you know if your package is Priority or First Class? Is it big or small? If it's small, it might have been left behind in their equipment by accident. That's why you don't see movement with your tracking. Almost every package with a readable tracking number will get scan. I'm sorry that this has happened to you and your package. Another thing to note is that, if your package is not shipped by Priority or First class, it will get staged and left there for a few days before they process it. Reason for that is that they process Priority first, then First Class, and if they have time, they will process the standard mail. Standard mail are those that are not Priority or First Class. After a few days of being staged, those mail will then be processed like First Class Mail. I hope this bit of information helped.

The Passport service at this location closes at 2pm. It's best to get it out of the way in the morning. They open at 9am.

Birth certificate, Identification, passport fee ($110), and photo/USPS fees ($55). Remember to fill out paperwork in it's entirety.

As a postal employee I've seen alot of packages that don't get wrapped properly, and either flip over so barcodes can't be read or stickers stick to other packages. Everything is moved electronically by the tracking code.

Joe is right, all mail is slow now due to the high demand on internet purchases, unless is next day delivery it can be backed 1-2 days

You have to get in contact with the post office off of Hacienda boulevard and Elliott in La Puente. That is the main office. They handle issues like this.

John 3 weeks for a package at the same place is no excuse brotha. Should be backed no longer than two days. Y’all have plenty of time to get those packages the hell out of there , seems everyone’s package is held up so my question to you is what the hell are y’all even sending out during operation hours. My package has been there for TWO WEEKS and I had PRIORITY. What a joke of a business man it’s unbelievable how people are letting you guys hold packages for this long man ... just sad
