I work for the City of Los Angeles Library Department, in a clerical capacity, so I know all the categories of materials. In answer to your question - yes, they certainly do, but ask for them by using the term "graphic novels." Also, there are graphic novels in the children's section, and graphic novels in the young adult section, so please specify which category you would like, when you go to the Reference Desk.
