The adoption fees for dogs are the same regardless of breed excluding pit bulls which the adoption process is slightly different. There is no guarantee that they will have a specific breed BUT all hope is not lost because they have an extensive list of breed specific rescue organizations etc. who are always looking for loving homes to adopt out your next best friend whether your looking for a younger more energetic playful pal or an older mature mellow fella. Adoption is a beautiful selfless act which not only saves a life but also gives love, shelter and care to the most vulnerable.
They don't actually sell any of the animals and the dogs they get it at any point vary greatly by breed. You can find adoption fees on their website if you're interested in probably a mixed breed.
They charge according to the breed, but I got a sick dog from them and it was vicious, he didn't act like this until they fixed him and messed up, saving animals is better in some ways, but I can't say I would use the sanfrancisco spca to get a pet again
It is going to cost what the fee's are I not sure but if it's dog or cat I don't think they will release them utill they're spayed and neutered and all shots are mostly current . The SPCA is totally awesome there their #1 to help are living creature's bird's reptiles and all are furry friends. They may point you toward a specific Resque for that breed or look on line.
