Hello Chloe, In 2018, 95% of the animals received at our cageless Animal Care Center were saved. The definition of a no-kill shelter is one that saves all healthy, treatable and rehabilitatable animals. Shelters with a save rate of 90% or higher are typically rated as no-kill. SVACA does have a no-kill status.

Chloe, if your concern has to do with ethical treatment of animals, this is a well run facility. Our adopted cat is healthy, happy, and loved.
