I experienced the worst customer service in this store. I asked if they had HO tracks couplers. He pointed to a wall of accessories in sealed paper bags behind the counter and said, "saw them, there are hundreds of them". He said that I asked "clueless questions". I asked why the hooks are sold in 2 pairs of 4 singles. I was told "a pair would mean 2. Like your socks, they come in pairs. And a left and a right". But a railcar only need 2 hooks each. Why insult someone for every question one asks? Their locomotives are marked with only a price with nothing about their key features, but I dared not to ask. Their railcars are in what appear to be fairly aged boxes, which tells me they haven't been sold for a long time. I wish they alerted me of THEIR expectation of customers before I entered. Obviously all the complaints about their customer service was true to form. I teach marketing. I will do a class project by sending my university students there to experience what a textbook case of rude and insulting customer service feels like.

when i visited recently to find a locomotive to buy it felt that they had taken one of the glass display shelvs out because they didnt have much ho stock and only a couple of steam locos and if there was a bigger selection i would hve bought more trains or would visit often but it was a local biusness and the prices were ok and service wase very good and i got what i needed and left. 4/5 would go again if more stock.

Great Train store!!! I was recently in town I business and had time to visit. AMAZING book selection! I've never seen so many books, magazines, and instruction manuals in one shop. Nice assortment of models from all manufacturers in all known scales. Also a wide variety of consignment items. I picked up a recently released SP book and magazine. I also found a TTX caboose in HO. Never seen one before, great find. Friendly service, knowledgeable staff, professionally run business. Prices are well below retail. Highly recommended!!! 👍🚂

They don't buy trains really. They sell them on consignment mostly. They only buy under some rare conditions.
They sell gift cards but you can only get it in-store.
Probably not, since the focus of the shop is American Trains. Doesn't hurt to go in and ask if they can order it for you.

I don't think so, best to call
Call and ask her
There are no train layouts if that's your question. Big selection of engines and cars, scenery items at scale and such.
Will depend on what's in stock, but if they don't have it, it can be ordered. From my last visit, they do have modern Union Pacific locomotives, at least with DCC and Sound

I have seen consignment there. Don't know of they straight up buy them though.
Suggest contacting the store. These questions go to Google local guides not store employees.
Hey Dale welcome to America in June! Dude these guys stock everything so I'm not sure because I'm not a train guy, but from what I've seen in their shop they have every single gauge known to mankind!!
