Yes but my dog personally is really bad with walking there for 3 reasons It's best to give them water while you are there because most hikes are long but he does not like drinking water from anything but his bowl at home and no where but at home (wetting his nose a little helps so he licks it or simply going in the morning so he doesnt get too hot) And Horses there are also common so there is horse feces and some dogs are appealed to that so if you worry about him suddenly dropping and rolling... I also see some dogs there with a lot of personality where they decide they dont want to walk anymore so it's best to acknowledge when they want to take breaks Commonly I also have that with my dog so I put him in my backpack on the steepest parts or if its hotter than I anticipated
