Great tide pools for Littles. There's a very short hike down to them but beautiful. There is a parking fee but very reasonable.

The parking under 30 mins is free. Very easy parking and nice hiking area. Across the street is the chapel also worthy to visit. Couldn't make it to the beach area, but it seems worth to give it a try next time. Be careful not to drive into opposite way, as you my damage the tires. One of the nicest places in Paolo Verdes area.

Great, small hike with beautiful cliffside ocean views! A little challenging and rocky once you get down to the beach but the rest of the dirt paths are relatively easy to hike up and down.

This is a nice cove with paid parking on site. I came here alone, but felt very safe the entire time. The tide pools were great with a variety of sea life. The trails are also well maintained with good views. I spent several hours here.

I've seen people at 7:00
Yes
Abalone Cove Tide Times & Tide Charts (Tide times for Abalone Cove are taken from the nearest tide station at Rancho Palos Verdes)
Yes. But there’s not much room to set up without the water reaching you. There’s also a small hike to get there. Also no restrooms
Yes you can. There are some picnic tables on the top too.
There's paid ticket booth parking. Where you're let in when you tap for your ticket. Once they close, the parking lot is closed off. No access afterwards once it's emptied out. Parking attendant leave too.
No dogs on beach, there is a sgn posted, but dogs are allowed on the trails👌
You can park right before the fire station
Yes, no restrictions
Yes, the parking lot closes at 4pm however, you can leave the car there until 7:30 or 8 (a hour after sunset)
The park is closed from Sunset to Sunrise. The parking lot closes at 4 however once it gets dark all the cars need to be out of the parking lot.
Per hour with a max. Maybe about 10-15$
Go to the hospital. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣
Rattle snakes maybe, loose rocks. Falling if not carefully following guidelines. But is an awesome place to walk and explore.
Been. Around for 15 years. Never heard of such event..
Probably best not to touch them. Respect them, please. And when walking on the rocks, watch there you step. It would be a shame the squash tham.
I haven't seen people do that, but maybe. Try it. There are some people fishing sometimes.
U can park by the fire station, and you will have access to exit the park
In some areas. Check local regulations. I've encountered game wardens there before. https://www.wildlife.ca.gov/Conservation/Marine/MPAs/Network/Southern-California#27151492-abalone-cove-state-marine-conservation-area
No fishing allowed . Sucks you cant toss in a line there. Not alot of signs saying no fishing.
The trail that directly goes from the parking lot
Parking, yes. And there is a nice view from the park area. However, getting down the path to the beach is still a bit of a hike.
I believe there a no dogs allowed on any Los Angeles County beach. Just read that on the website
Bathrooms are up top but they do have a port-a-potty down by the pre-school if you head to the right at the end of the trail. The hike down to the beach is about a 1/4 of a mile. Not to bad....rattlesnake awareness please.
No
Yes but its prohibited and they have posted sings. Park rangers are patroling and giving citations to the ones who are not following the rules.
No grills that I know of, and generally not very crowded, even on Saturdays.
