Yes trail head is right by the parking area about a mile off pavement.
I don't really understand the question, but I will answer the best I can. The trailhead parking lot is very close to the trail. I don't know if it's currently open, but I don't know of any reason why it would be closed.

Yes it was when I went a couple of weeks ago, but it's rained since then so I'm not completely sure. And the bathrooms are open as well.
