If it's less than a year there is manufacture warranty available. if it's over a year and you didn't but extended warranty, you are on your own. The most of appliance repair place will fix it. A parts & labor you are looking at around $400.
Need be more specific. What exactly is freezing up? Don't knock the brand as for they make quality products.
If you bought the extended warranty through home depot they are responsible to replace/ repair it. Contact the store manager and Samsung together. Someone should be responsible. If they won't take care of it, contact your Better Business bureau and possibly even your lawyer. Don't let them walk over you. Demand satisfaction and get your customer rights.
