Well! California was great. This was only on my list because my kid insisted on seeing the Dolly Parton star. Alot of sketchy people especially people trying to sell themselves. Overall it was great for quick photo ops.

Love this place for the parking. They validate at Hard Rock if you have lunch there. Hollywood blvd itself is pretty dumpy overall but this shopping center saves the day. Plus a great view of the Hollywood sign for tourists.

Always a quirky place to visit. Go early in the morning and you will have no trouble taking whatever tourist pictures you want. I took my dog for a stroll through the Chinese theatre area and the H&H area with no issues. And the best thing about having a dog is no one bothers you to join a van tour. Hate those things.

Prices are normal, not inflated because its Hollywood. But they do have some stores that have a hefty price tag, but usually jewelry stores.
You can park on the street a block away not a problem

Loews is so nice and right in the middle of Hollywood. Short drive to the sign hike. Also, the Bonaventure is nice. Not as close, but you can see the sign from the 360 restaurant and rooms facing the mountains

There are parking lots nearby that have free parking sure you have to walk a bit but you will get to see the names of the stars on the way so i would recommend that. Btw i found Donald Trump's Star ⭐
