Do you network with other areas? If a veteran needs to live in another community are you able to find Vash housing in other areas, like Northern California, recommend a veteran for interview, or just pass along numbers/e-mails to try?

While I strongly suggest that you call VVSD directly, I'm pretty sure they would only be able to pass along contact information. I went through their program in 2002/2003 and it has changed significantly since then. But a phone call will get you the best results. They are top notch and will do whatever they can to help you.

Jym Varnadore gave you the best answer. I agree call them and I'm sure they can help. I was there from October 2017 till March of 2018. They helped me find a one bedroom apartment that I really like.

My husband went through the program and is now an alumni. He stayed on-site for the first year, got a job and then was moved into a duplex with another Vet. Some part of the program paid for the first 6 most. of rent. It's an amazing program for Vet's trying to get on there feet again.
