I'm wondering how your lobster was "stinking" in your car but not "stinking" at the time you received it and put it into a "to-go" box. After all, spoiled lobster is distinctly unpleasant! (I certainly wouldn't eat it, nevermind put any meal remnants into a doggie bag to take home!) Plus, when I was there at the Weathervane restaurant, I saw a large lobster tank containing several live lobsters. Customers are able to pick out the lobster they want for their meal. It doesn't get any fresher than that. It sounds as though your lobster simply spent more time in the car than it should have. Or else maybe you've confused the Weathervane with a similar-sounding seafood place.
When the waitress gave it to me i told her that it tasted bad she still charged me for it thats the only reason I took it to go and i went down the street to the candy store and when i got back in my car was when it was stinking so i threw it out.
