Just bought a Nissan Murano from Gerry's Corinna a few weeks ago and already having issues. Ac compressor went and they want to charge us $450 to fix it. Told us it was safe to drive then it started smoking almost catching fire and ceased up.

I am aware of this vehicle, you are not the owner..but I will clarify for you anyways how things work as you are obviously misinformed.. The said vehicle was purchased 06/10/19 that's more than a few weeks. the vehicle is a used 2006 vehicle, there was 2755 miles put on the vehicle when it came into the shop...price out the cost of the compressor and a/c evac and recharge, you will find that it is more than the EST. that was given from us.. NOW let's clarify the USED car warranty said vehicle came with, 30 day or 1000 mile inspectible warranty, A/C is clearly written that it is not covered .this was initialed as being understood at time of purchase 2 months ago. As for being told it was ok to drive, drive home yes. but not to continue driving and not fix. To continue to drive and not repair is a choice made by the owner not the shop. So laying the blame on others for the choice not to repair and continue to drive is on the vehicle owner not the shop.

Just fix it for them already, this sounds like a shady business, most decent shops would take the hit just to NOT have these bad reviews. I'm looking to trade in my truck on an SUV but I just came across this post and now I'm staying far away from this place. Just my 2 cents
