I visited multiple lots around town looking for a car that had everything I wanted. CarMax made the entire process really easy, which I guess is their thing. If you haven’t been to a CarMax before, they can ship cars from other CarMax locations. Some of the closer ones are free but I ended up paying a little shipping to get the exact car I wanted. Once the car arrived, someone reached out quickly to see the car and set up a test drive. The sales staff was amazing. They were friendly, seemed to want to be there l, and not at all pushy. I feel like the value of my trade was good and the asking price for the car I wanted was also good. They made it very easy compared to smaller local car lots because they have so many cars in multiple locations. And then, I didn’t even have to do the back and forth to get a fair value for my trade. I would 100% shop here again when looking for a used car.

The experience was simple and straight forward. This was our second purchase from CarMax. This purchase was just as smooth as our first purchase. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The process would have been faster, but they were selling cars to almost everyone that had an appointment the evening we were there. Great job CarMax!

This place is a great place if you need a car and can't get anything else. My wife went here to buy me a surprise birthday gift. I needed a van for my cleaning business. The van did come but did not look like the van shown online. My wife refused to buy the van. Although Car-Max pulled my wife's credit the salesperson did not tell her that the hard inquiry would hit her credit 8 times. They did two inquiries so do the math. My wife credit went down 100 points. Even though that person is not there anymore the damage of my wife's credit was hit significantly. Please beware to know if you want a car or not. Ask questions and if they say they can't do it make sure you are in dire need. I just wanted you to know this is dirty action on top of losing 200.00 dollars on something that was false advertising with that van. Beware, just like Circuit City!

They made my car purchase so easy, also trade in process was quick they offered me way more that other dealerships. My only recommendation is to browse for the cars you like on the carmax website ahead of time so finding your car is not a time consuming process. PAUL was my rep he was super 👌

Yes. As long as you can get the financing. And the vehicle is available.
My credit score is in the low 600s and they found me a crediter that lowned me the money for the car.They are awesome
Yes, they will take it as a trade in. Hopefully you don't owe more than the value of it
The age of the car makes the decision about who is able to finance outside of carmax. Our State farm wouldn't.finance our 2008-too old.... Mazda purchase but Carmax had a super decent rate!

I think you can but at a very reduced buying price. When they do an inspection, it is very thorough. I had a 2013 Malibu and they found a very small ding in the rear driver quarter panel and they took off for that.
Yes it's possible to find at car max . If you can be flexible.
Be aware that they only have to tell you if it has been dammaged over 25% of its value. I bought one that was dammaged and no one told me anything. Read my review for details.
