Yes you can but it is more like wading than actual swimming. The pools are not that big for an actual swming experience.
Yes but its limited. Its really small pools. Caution its freezing lol. And there are some spots you can jump from higher rocks into pools below

You can wade for sure. There are several pools at differing elevations with lots of flat rock surfaces to sit on as well. I do not believe there is a place deeper than a few feet.
It depends on water levels at the time you visit ..but its mostly Shallow. Pools ...
You can go in and enjoy the freezing water. Great after a long day hiking.
