I live in East Rochester and have been finding it extremely difficult with the computer being slow or cannot open a program. I have purchased a new router/modem, and had Atlantic set it up. Still having the same problem.

If your pc is operating slow it is very likely a computer problem and not internet. That is what this sounds like to me but youd have to be more specific about what your issue is

I just found out my router has a virus that got hooked up just yesterday!!! My computers are now infected and my son lost 6 years of pics and guitar presets. Not happy!!! The virus comes with the Cisco router box. This is not new. If you look it up you will see all kinds of people with this issue and you wont ever know unless you go to ip config. It will say Utopia.net instead of your internet provider...as it should. Hi Joseph.

Have you checked for viruses? They can slow the pc down & cleaning up the temporary files

I live in East Rochester also, and I'm not having any internet speed issues. If your computer can not open programs, or seems slow doing that or other things that don't require an internet connection, then I would say you are having computer problems.
